KIW 2026 winner Jang Jae-woong says KOSPI heat is a chance to buy chip pullbacks

Jang Jae-woong, winner of the 3rd Hankyung-Timefolio KIW Stock Investment Contest, spoke on May 14, 2026 at the KIW 2026 event at The Shilla Seoul in Jung-gu. He identified “real earnings growth” as the core driver for the market ahead. He won first place after outperforming the market return by 30 percentage points. Jang said that if listed companies enter an era of 900 trillion won in operating profit, the KOSPI 10,000 level mentioned by global investment banks would no longer be a dream number.
