KOSPI Top 10 reshuffled as AI beneficiaries dominate and Samsung Electro-Mechanics enters

The composition of the KOSPI’s top 10 companies by market capitalization has recently been reshaped around AI beneficiary stocks. According to mk.co.kr, Samsung Biologics dropped out of the top 10, while Samsung Electro-Mechanics newly entered the group. Hanwha Aerospace and KB Financial were also excluded. Newly included names include SK Square, Doosan Enerbility and HD Hyundai Electric. Samsung Electro-Mechanics was notable as its share price rose tenfold over the past year, changing the market-cap ranking within the Samsung group.
